Clarkson's Mercedes

A while back, a customer approached us wanting to re-trim the whole interior of his classic Mercedes 600 Grosser. It was fun to see everyone’s jaws dropping when he came to choose the leather and carpet for the car. It was no other than Jeremy Clarkson himself. There was a lot of excitement when the neighbours asked for autographs and photos with the at-the-time Top Gear host. Finally, we went ahead with the Bentley Saddle leather and a dark green Aston Martin carpet.

As it was a very complicated car with hydraulic front and rear seats, we sent the car to a Mercedes specialist John Haynes, who are experts on this model. They very kindly stripped the interior and refitted it - this way we got the best results. The job was top quality and looked fantastic at the end.Not sure if Clarkson liked it or not, cause he didn’t comment… but he did pay ;)

Seat Repairs

We only do a seat repair properly - no paint, no filling holes, just remove the panel of leather/fabric/vinyl and replace with new. Stitched up in the correct manner so nobody would ever know. For a third of the price of most new covers.
